Interesting. I've never really thought of the symbiotic relationship between us and the bacteria that lives in and on us as a "super organism." Wouldn't we have to have two-way COMMUNICATION for this to hold true? Do we send messenger molecules to the bacteria, and do they send messenger molecules back to us?
